Cascade Golden Hawk Magnum **SOLD**
Looking to move along my cascade Golden Hawk Magnum, RH , 52" , 60#@29" , comes with Thunderhorn Boa 2 piece quiver. The bow has seen a few campaigns, so isn't in perfect, unused, virgin, spotless, as new condition, but it is in great condition, with very few imperfections. there is a feel...

Dunno about you Paul, but I'm a bit old school, something about these I love, could be ogling them in the old outdoors mag as a kid 35 years ago. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Schrade-Old-Timer-Sawcut-Delrin-Sharpfinger-Knife-New-/400546006635?pt=Collectible_Knives&hash=item5d4267066b#ht_2580wt_931 Ch...

Used Myus once, never again, their paperwork.....or lack of it , cost me two one hour phone calls trying to sort it out, speaking with the customs lady she made comment that it is now a common problem with folk using these services, ensure that all paper work is attached individually for multiple it...

Re: Bethungra Dam (very pic heavy!!!)
Top reply mate , thanks for that, it gives me a good idea of how to get the one I have in action again. Molasses must work magic, I was only reading his morning of blokes treating old steel traps with it to bring them back looking good, mentioned twice in one day, must be a message there for me to r...

Hey Mark, Yep , that's not a bad way of doing it either, keeps all camps happy , and gives those new folk a chance to be part of the weekend with the gear they have, good thinking who evers behalf I'd say. Catch you at the Marsh next month, boys have some tales for you from some of that ground we bo...

Re: Where is Victorian Trad Scene going
Tony, you posed a couple of questions, below is my opinion and mine only, nothing to do with the club I belong to. From the outset I will clarify I am no dyed in the wool trad shooter, I dabble, just like my compound shooting, my rifle shooting, fly fishing, knife making, I guess the common thread ...

Unclefez, it's a vulcanised card, similar to the material gaskets are cut from, you get it from the supply houses in the states , like Jantz knife supply.

Yep thats it mate, on one of John Tietzels videos he shows the jaw removal with a big knife like this that he was making, Tully detusker, a real sword. Thank you very much for taking the time mate, what a great story. There is certainly some Australian bowhunting history there, I recall seeing some of Bill Hill's scrimshaw work in an old magazine a long time ago now, it was obviously a passion of his. Those are the only others of Dave's I have seen...

Always interested, but rarely find the time to have too much of a crack at knife making, made the odd one here and there in the last couple of years as I found time, leaving the shed (was mine) to my young fella , Tyler, and poking my nose in and listening where ever I can, and asking a lot of dumb ...

Don;t know what make they are but i use the ones with a cup on each end. My main recurve is a 52" that would cost me to much to replace the limbs, not gunna take the chance of twisting them shorties, so I use a stringer everytime, Never tried one of the friction ones, would like to though :wink...

Re: Orange Trad Peg at QLD ABA State Titles
Orange trad peg..............wasn't supported in our area at all, was regarded by most that it was an insinuation that the gear was inferior, inefficient and the archer lacking, some thought it should have been a pink peg. Your division is your division and you compete against those within that divi...

Some nice clear pics there Craig, only down side is we can see some of the rough heads a bit better
Was a good weekend, that bloody carp needs more arra's in it though. And those arrows of Stephens with the white cresting are stunning.

I've used a courier company in the past mate i.e. TOLL, they do online quotes etc but if you visit one and talk face to face things often work out less expensive, longbows I have compared to a fishing rod in describing how they will be packed. Others more experienced (read "bow ho's") will...
