Well done Jacko! Excellent workmanship as usual. The weeping heart design is a new one on me. It's tradition is interesting.

Re: Glenn St Charles back quiver?
I'm always fascinated by interesting quiver designs. I particularly like the one you've pictured Jacko. To me, it's an indian type, side quiver with added feature of a side access hole. It offers many advantages, as you have outlined. You could easily fit a fletch cover to this design and arrow remo...

Yes mate, the Geelong Trophy Bowhunters. They're a really good bunch. I should have joined years ago.

You've got to be kidding! I wonder where they think their dog's food comes from?

Re: Glenn St Charles back quiver?
I've moved away from the St Charles type of quiver for my purposes. I already own a Great Northern Sidekick quiver, on which I have replaced the arrow gripper with one that it will now accept my 5/16 inch carbon hunting shafts. This quiver will do just about everything a St Charles quiver can do, al...

Re: ILF bows?
Hi Troy. My new ILF bow won't look like anything that I've liked in the past. When I first saw the photo of the W&W carbon riser, together with the Border Hex 7 limbs on TradTalk, it was love at first sight. It certainly isn't 'traditional', but it somehow looks 'right' and even sexy, in a way. ...

Re: 11 x Sitka Spruce arrows 50-55# - 27 1/2 inches - for sa
Admittedly, these arrows are a bit on the short side. I can't remember why I made them so short. It was suggested to me, by one clever person, that an easy way of lengthening them by over an inch would be to fit them with these TopHat Woodscrew Adapters. http://www.3riversarchery.com/TopHat+Woodscre...

11 x Sitka Spruce arrows 50-55# - 27 1/2 inches - SOLD
These arrows were made for a bow that I have since sold. I won't be shooting plus 50# bows in the future, so they may as well be moved on. There's only 11, as I managed to break one in the backyard when I was testing them. These arrows haven't been used much at all. They're mostly still like new. Ha...

12 x Sitka Spruce arrows - 50-55# - 28 inches - SOLD
These arrows have seen a bit of use, but there's still a lot of life left in them. They're fitted with a variety of points (see photo), which will come with the sale. They're no longer of any use to me, as all of my bows require lighter spined arrows.

12 x new Port Orford cedar finished shafts 50-55# - SOLD
I won't be using these 12 shafts now, as I've sold the bow I was going to use them with. They're too heavily spined for any of my current bows. As you will notice, the shafts have self nocks with horn inserts. A lot of time and effort went into making them. The shafts have been sealed and they're no...

Thanks Steve.
As you are no doubt aware, as we get older, birthdays definitely aren't as exciting as they once were, so there's no need to be sorry mate. It was a good day though. The family looked after me well. It's good to hear that you've been out hunting.
All the best
Mick

Osage Orange stave for sale - 62 inches - $100 SOLD
I'm selling my osage stave. It was cut the December before last and it has been lacquered for storage, so as not to dry out and crack. It's 62 inches long. It has almost no twist. The growth rings are fairly close together. I was going to make a Cherokee bow out of it, but I will never get around to...
