Re: How would you categorise this bow?
Its probably just as well the discussion of the bow catagory took place on the forum :D At the June Gathering in the Hunter Valley ( after a couple of beers ) no one would agree on anything !! its been an interesting discussion .... i might just tick the longbow box to keep the debate going :m...

This thread has came out because i asked Longbow Steve the question through PM on what my bow would be classed as . i dont really care if it is a recurve or a longbow :P i hardly go to any shoots due to work commitments, BUT i need to know what box to tick if and when i do go to a shoot... ??? didnt see that comming !Roadie wrote:OK so they are calling it a LongBow, so let them complete in the Modern LongBow Division, as that is what it is a Modern Longbow, or else in Recurve because that what it looks like. A Tradational Bow it ain't. Just my opionion Cheers Roadie.

snakes at night
Be aware .. i just went for a drive up the road to adjust my new driving lights , frogs everywhere on the road and a big big tiger snake out for a feed ... 9.30pm !! . Obviously drawn by the heat of the road and still very very active , but reasonably cool outside... He was right near a big old frog...

Im currently using a safari tuff quiver, only had it for a few months but it has proven itself to be the best quiver that i own i was using a side quiver for many years, but after trying Guy Layton's safari tuff i placed an order for one myself. ive wore it with a hydration pack and it worked well.

.... the SKBs have their stated draw weight at 30 " and not 28 " .
i did read this somewhere, so i checked the 2 i have on the bow scales and this seems to be the case.
