I would definately recomend mulberry,the strength is 90%comparable to osage while it is 25% lighter in weight.I am currently trying some in red elm and bamboo,I intend to break each to see what kind of weight they can hold up to.What are you using for the core?Wish I had used mulberry for the first ...

One of the easiest ways to do fletchings is to glue the feather to the shaft after cuttint it to length and then burning it to shape with a thin file heated over a gasstove,takes a bit of practice,might want to try it with some scrap feathers to get the feel and then doing the real thing.

Hi,Traditionaly the bamboo used for arrows is japanese arrow bamboo or the korean arrow bamboo,dont have the scientific name handy,lots of the people here in the U.S. have used the garden stakes from the local garden centers quiet successfully as well as tonkin cane and the native american river can...

Thanks,this is my first laminate bow,49 1/2 ntn,45#@28.Shoots flat and fast,no handshock or stacking,has 1 paralell maple lam and 1 tapered red elm lam,sahiyas and handle are maple.
