I also have the CamelBak Mule and a Badlands React...both are fine and the straps have never interfered with my shots.

What area do you live in? The best way to get started is to find a club close to you and start shooting regularly there, it’s a great way to make connections and network with other bow hunters.

Just an update - headed to Brisbane but my surgery was cancelled the night before. Turns out it is a different type of tumour and they want to try and shrink it with medication, as it is encasing the carotid artery and they wouldn't have been able to get it all out anyway. So am back home again, but...
