Re: Scouting project - cubs actually.

it really depends on the size of the group i think, theres no reason you couldnt with enough supervision. but it would have to be something super simple, you would prolly have to tiller them 9/10th of the way and just let em finish sand them.

Re: Reducing Poundage on a Laminated Bow

hmm i wouldnt try it personaly.... unless you hate the bow? if its a long bow (i.e no recurve, no deflex no reflex) then it might be possable but still a very scary thought.... all i can think is twice the width = twice as strong if it was going to be done that would be the way but everything would ...

Re: How would you categorise this bow?

its a recurve or deflex reflex whatever......... plain and simple any1 who argues otherwise isnt being honest with themselves, to me a long bow devision is important because some of us who shoot longbows are doing what our accestors did centurys ago and trying to pass that thing (cool as it is) is d...

Re: Wood Arrow making quest?

well since u live in a wet aria i would recomend oiling the entire shaft then sealing it with polyurathane the polyurathane can be glued to and the oil just provides a bit more moisture protection. i would bind the feathers as well, since u live remote i think reliability would be no 1

Re: Bamboo Board

u know you think it would but no the glue used in the boo lamination process holds up to the heat well, the only thing is that you need to leave it about a week after the tempering to alow it to back to equilibruim. and if you ante to a reflex while temepering would be the time to do it
